{"id":2450,"date":"2026-05-26T08:13:34","date_gmt":"2026-05-26T08:13:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/srms.ac.in\/alliedandhealthcare\/?p=2450"},"modified":"2026-05-26T08:13:34","modified_gmt":"2026-05-26T08:13:34","slug":"say-no-to-ragging-srms-institute-of-paramedical-sciences-champions-safe-campus-culture","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/srms.ac.in\/alliedandhealthcare\/say-no-to-ragging-srms-institute-of-paramedical-sciences-champions-safe-campus-culture\/","title":{"rendered":"SAY NO TO RAGGING | SRMS INSTITUTE OF PARAMEDICAL SCIENCES CHAMPIONS SAFE CAMPUS CULTURE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>SRMS Institute of Paramedical Sciences (IPS), Bareilly<\/strong> observed <strong>Anti-Ragging Week<\/strong> with a series of impactful activities aimed at creating a secure, inclusive, and respectful campus environment, while sensitizing them to stand united against any form of harassment or intimidation.<\/p>\n<p>From insightful lectures by Chief Proctor <strong>Atul Singh<\/strong> on anti-ragging laws and redressal mechanisms, to thought-provoking videos by <strong>Dr Shivank Chaudhary<\/strong> (DSW, IPS) on the psychological, social, and legal impact of ragging, students were reminded that empathy and respect are the true pillars of education.<\/p>\n<p>Adding creativity, a <strong>Poster-Making Competition<\/strong> saw <strong>Juhi &amp; Aditi<\/strong> (BPT) win 1st &amp; 2nd prizes, while <strong>Tanmay<\/strong> (BOTT) secured 3rd place. The competition was judged by <strong>Dr Nabeela Khanam <\/strong>(PT), Incharge, Physiotherapy Department, and <strong>Atul Singh<\/strong>. Anti-ragging posters with strong slogans like \u2018Say No to Ragging\u2019 filled the campus with powerful messages. The highlight was a Nukkad Natak that struck hearts, portraying how ragging destroys confidence, friendships, and futures. With the guidance of Principal <strong>Dr Jaspreet Kaur<\/strong> and support from faculty, Anti-Ragging Week empowered students to stand together for a ragging-free, respectful, and safe campus
