The Department of Pharmacology<\/strong> at SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Bareilly<\/strong> in collaboration with SRMS Institute of Paramedical Sciences (IPS), Bareilly<\/strong> observed 5th<\/sup> National<\/strong> Pharmacovigilance Week <\/strong>with a Chart Display activity<\/strong> on the importance of pharmacovigilance in clinical practice, Drug Safety Monitoring <\/strong>& Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) Reporting<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Organized by ADR Monitoring Centre <\/strong>at IMS<\/strong> under the aegis of Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI), IPC<\/strong>, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, Ghaziabad, the event was held under the guidance of Dr Meenakshi Jindal<\/strong> (Professor & Head, Pharmacology & AMC Coordinator) & Dr Jasbir Singh<\/strong> (Deputy Coordinator, Pharmacovigilance Committee). \u00a0Medical <\/strong>& paramedical students<\/strong> showcased charts on ADRs such as giddiness, depression, thyroid disorders, nausea, and vomiting, emphasizing timely detection and reporting as cornerstones of pharmacovigilance for patient safety and rational drug use.<\/p>\n
