{"id":18128,"date":"2026-02-27T08:16:37","date_gmt":"2026-02-27T08:16:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/srms.ac.in\/cet\/?p=18128"},"modified":"2026-02-27T08:16:37","modified_gmt":"2026-02-27T08:16:37","slug":"from-theory-to-tech-ece-students-get-hands-on-with-ansys-at-srms-engineering-college","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/srms.ac.in\/cet\/from-theory-to-tech-ece-students-get-hands-on-with-ansys-at-srms-engineering-college\/","title":{"rendered":"FROM THEORY TO TECH: ECE STUDENTS GET HANDS-ON with ANSYS at SRMS ENGINEERING COLLEGE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>Department of Electronics &amp; Communication Engineering <\/strong> in association with <strong> IIC <\/strong>and <strong>Robotrax Club<\/strong> at <strong>SRMS College of Engineering &amp; Technology (CET), Bareilly<\/strong>, and in collaboration with <strong>ANSYS Electronics<\/strong>, hosted a practical workshop on \u2018<strong><em>Advancing Product Design with ANSYS Electronics &amp; Multiphysics Solutions\u2019<\/em><\/strong><strong>. <\/strong>It focused on equipping students with practical insights into the real-world use of simulation tools for electronics system design.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop blended learning, application, and innovation, bringing classroom concepts closer to industry practice. Industry expert <strong> Er<\/strong> <strong>Shubhendra Mishra, <\/strong> Application Engineer-HF at ARK Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd. led a session on real-world simulation workflows, while <strong>Dr Sovan Mohanty<\/strong>, HOD ECE, shared insights on RF and wideband antenna design.<\/p>\n<p>A demonstration on EMI\/ EMC analysis, antenna design, and thermal-electrical coupling was done followed by a lively <strong><em>Quiz <\/em><\/strong> that added a competitive edge. The event saw participation of over 50 students with 55+ attendees. Total <strong>cash prize <\/strong> of worth <strong> Rs 10,000<\/strong> was given to winners, wherein, <strong>1<sup>st<\/sup> cash prize<\/strong> of Rs <strong>5,000<\/strong> went to <strong>Pratiksha Singh, Alankrit Kaushik, Mohd. Saad, Kapil Sharma, Vinayak Deval and Basu Sharma.<\/strong> <strong>2<sup>nd<\/sup> cash prize<\/strong> of <strong>Rs 3000<\/strong> went to <strong>Disha, Pratibha, Sparsh, Abhay, Chetaanshi and Pranav<\/strong>, while <strong>3<sup>rd<\/sup> cash prize<\/strong> of <strong>Rs 2000<\/strong> was bagged by <strong>Ayushi, Ayush, Deepansh, Sneha, Viraj and Anya Agarwal<\/strong>.
