Their combat robot <strong>\u201cASTRA\u201d<\/strong> has emerged as a symbol of technical excellence, precision engineering, and determination.<\/p>\n<p>Living by the belief that <strong><em>\u201cSoftware runs the world, but electronics is the world,\u201d<\/em> SRMS ECE students<\/strong> showcased their brilliance on some of India\u2019s biggest technical platforms:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>At TRYST26, IIT Delhi\u2019s Annual Techfest<\/strong> (27 February\u20131 March 2026), <strong>Sachin Kumar, Sparsh Saxena, and Mohd. Saad (ECE 2023) <\/strong> secured <strong>First Position<\/strong> in <strong>Robo War (&lt;15 Kg),<\/strong> winning a cash prize of <strong>\u20b970,000.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The winning streak continued at <strong>Cognizance 2026, IIT Roorkee\u2019s flagship technical fest<\/strong>, where <strong>Sachin Kumar Maurya, Sparsh Saxena, and Mohd. Saad<\/strong> secured <strong>Second Position<\/strong> in the highly competitive <strong>30 Kg RoboWar category,<\/strong> earning <strong>\u20b950,000<\/strong> from a <strong>\u20b96 lakh prize pool<\/strong> on 13\u201314 March 2026.<\/li>\n<li>Earlier, at <strong>Gantavya 2K26<\/strong> hosted by <strong>SRMCEM Lucknow<\/strong> (16\u201317 February 2026), <strong>Sachin Kumar Maurya and Sparsh Saxena<\/strong> won <strong>Second Position<\/strong> in both <strong>Robo War 15 Kg<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Robo War 8 Kg<\/strong> categories, securing cash prizes of <strong>\u20b920,000 and \u20b915,000<\/strong> respectively.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Well, these achievements are more than victories, they reflect the future-ready, innovation-driven ecosystem at SRMS CET.<\/p>\n<p><iframe
