\n The department of neurology started functioning as an independent department at SRMS IMS in the year 2010 since then the department has made a steady progress and is now offering round the clock emergency and in-patient and outpatient services at a very nominal cost. During the year 2023 more than 27,000 OPD cases were seen in the neurology OPD and more than 1000 cases of neurology emergencies were admitted from the casualty patient of acute stroke are being cheated with thrombolytic therapy which is available only at a few centres in northern India. <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n
