Headaches that wouldn&#8217;t stop, constant vomiting, unsteady steps, and double vision in one eye began to steal his normalcy.<\/p>\n<p>From <strong>Dehradun to Delhi<\/strong>, Rajat and his family knocked on every possible door\u2014AIIMS, Max, and several other leading hospitals, but hope seemed to fade. Until they came to <strong>SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Bareilly, <\/strong>where the hope met expertise. After a thorough evaluation, doctors at SRMS IMS discovered the root cause, <strong>a large Posterior Fossa Tumor dangerously attached to the brainstem (pons)<\/strong>. A location so critical that even the slightest surgical error could lead to paralysis or worse.<\/p>\n<p>Led by <strong>Dr Praveen Kumar Tripathi<\/strong>, Associate Professor, Department of Neurosurgery, a highly complex and rare <strong>brainstem tumor surgery<\/strong> was performed using a minimal craniotomy approach. Against all odds, the entire tumor was successfully removed without a single complication.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOperating near the brainstem is like defusing a bomb, which demands absolute precision,\u201d says Dr Tripathi. \u201cBut with the right team, cutting-edge tools, and trust in the process, we made it possible.
