When 52-year-old <strong>Balwinder Singh<\/strong> from Uttarakhand was battling kidney failure, hope seemed distant, until his wife, <strong>Surjeet Kaur<\/strong> (48), chose to give him not just her support, but a part of herself.<\/p>\n<p>Under the skilled hands of <strong>Dr (Prof) Sanjay Kumar<\/strong>, Consultant Nephrologist &amp; Kidney Transplant Physician at <strong>SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Bareilly<\/strong>, the transplant was a success. Today, 10 months later, Balwinder and Surjeet are living proof that life after such a battle can be brighter, fuller, and more meaningful.<\/p>\n<p>This story is shared as part of <strong>World Organ Donation Day<\/strong> (<strong>on August 13<\/strong>) and our campaign <strong>\u2018Angdaan \u2013 Jeevan Sanjeevani Abhiyaan\u2019<\/strong>, to inspire more people to consider organ donation.
