{"id":11101,"date":"2026-07-22T08:56:43","date_gmt":"2026-07-22T08:56:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/srms.ac.in\/ims\/?p=11101"},"modified":"2026-07-22T08:56:43","modified_gmt":"2026-07-22T08:56:43","slug":"students-faculties-at-srms-trust-institutions-celebrate-national-voluntary-blood-donation-day-with-compassion-courage-community-spirit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/srms.ac.in\/ims\/students-faculties-at-srms-trust-institutions-celebrate-national-voluntary-blood-donation-day-with-compassion-courage-community-spirit\/","title":{"rendered":"STUDENTS &#038; FACULTIES AT SRMS TRUST INSTITUTIONS CELEBRATE NATIONAL VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONATION DAY with COMPASSION, COURAGE &#038; COMMUNITY SPIRIT\u2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Some heroes don\u2019t wear capes; they roll up their sleeves!<\/p>\n<p>Marking <strong>National Voluntary Blood Donation Day<\/strong>, students and faculty from across <strong>SRMS Trust Institutions<\/strong> \u2014 <strong>SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS)<\/strong>, <strong>SRMS Institute of Paramedical Sciences (IPS),<\/strong> <strong>SRMS College of Nursing, SRMS College of Engineering &amp; Technology (CET) &amp; SRMS College of Engineering Technology &amp; Research (CETR)<\/strong> came together for a two-day <strong>Voluntary Blood Donation Camp (Oct 1\u20132)<\/strong>, turning empathy into action and service into strength.<\/p>\n<p>Coinciding with <strong>Gandhi Jayanti<\/strong> &amp; <strong>37th Smriti Diwas<\/strong> of <em>Late Shri Ram Murti Ji<\/em> \u2014 veteran freedom fighter, former UP Minister &amp; ex-Parliamentarian, the initiative truly embodied the Trust\u2019s spirit of humanity, compassion, and selfless giving. Organized by <strong>Department of Transfusion Medicine <\/strong>at <strong>SRMS IMS<\/strong>, the camp was conducted at <strong>SRMS IMS Blood Center<\/strong> &amp; SRMS CET, witnessing an overwhelming response with <strong>110+ donors<\/strong> stepping up to make a life-saving difference.<\/p>\n<p>The event was graced by <strong>Shri Dev Murti<\/strong>, Chairman SRMS Trust; <strong>Aditya Murti<\/strong>, Director Administration; <strong>Richa Murti<\/strong>, Director SRMS Goodlife Hospital; <strong>Dr RP Singh<\/strong>, MS; Prof <strong>Dr Milan Jaiswal<\/strong>, Head, Department of Transfusion Medicine (SRMS IMS); <strong>Dr Prabhakar Gupta<\/strong>, Principal (SRMS CET) &amp; many others.
