Sometimes, the warning signs are subtle. The consequences, however, can be life-changing.<br \/>\nMarking <strong>World Brain Tumor Day (June 8)<\/strong>, the <strong>Department of Neurosurgery<\/strong> at <strong>SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Bareilly<\/strong> transformed awareness into action through a unique programme focused on the importance of <strong>early diagnosis, timely treatment, and better outcomes for brain tumor patients<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The highlight of the event was an enriching session and <strong>lives surgical demonstration<\/strong> by renowned neurosurgical expert <strong>Prof Dr Awadhesh Jaiswal, HOD, Department of Neurosurgery, SGPGI, Lucknow<\/strong>, who shared valuable insights on brain tumors, their symptoms, diagnosis, and evolving treatment options. Through live operative training, case discussions, and interactive sessions, participants gained firsthand exposure to the critical role of early intervention in saving lives.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing the gathering, <strong>Shri Dev Murti, Chairman, SRMS Trust<\/strong>, reaffirmed SRMS IMS&#8217;s commitment to delivering world-class healthcare through seamless collaboration among super-specialty and allied departments while ensuring advanced treatment remains accessible and affordable in Bareilly.<\/p>\n<p>The programme was organized under the guidance of <strong>Aditya Murti (Director Administration), Dr MS Butola (Principal, IMS), Dr SK Sagar (Dean PG), Dr Sharat Johari (Professor, Department of Neurology), and Dr RP Singh (Medical Superintendent)<\/strong>.
