25 years of SRMS Eye Bank. 25 years of keeping the gift of sight alive\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

This 41st National Eye Donation Fortnight<\/strong>, from August 25 to September 8<\/strong>, carries a special meaning for SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Bareilly<\/strong>. Through its Department of Ophthalmology<\/strong>, SRMS IMS is marking the 25th Eye Donation Fortnight of its Eye Bank<\/strong>, a journey built on one simple belief: the gift of sight should never end with a life.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Eye donation is not just about giving after death. It is about leaving behind something that can change another person\u2019s life. A decision you make today could mean that someone who has never seen the face of a loved one, watched a sunrise or simply seen the world around them, gets a chance to experience it.<\/p>\n

So this fortnight, make the pledge. Have the conversation with your family. Tell someone why eye donation matters. Encourage them to come forward too.<\/strong> Because when you donate your eyes, a part of you can continue to bring light into someone else\u2019s world.<\/strong><\/p>\n
