At SRMS Institute of Allied & Healthcare Sciences (formerly Institute of Paramedical Sciences), World Optometry Day was celebrated with energy, awareness, and a strong message ‘eye care matters more than we think’.
Graced by Prof Dr Neelima Mehrotra, HOD, Department of Ophthalmology at SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Bareilly, the event began with a warm welcome by Prof Dr Jaspreet Kaur, Principal, SRMS IAHS.
From quiz battles to poster-making competitions, students brought in creativity, knowledge, and a whole lot of enthusiasm, making the learning both fun and impactful. The competitions were judged by Sukhdev Singh, In-charge, Department of Optometry; Akriti Sharma, Assistant Professor, Department of Optometry; Imran Ali, In-charge, Department of MLS and Priyanka Saxena, In-charge Department of RIT, adding depth and expertise to the event.
