Ragging is completely forbidden and is punishable as per the order of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
Ragging is punishable offence under Law.
As per the order of Hon’ble Supreme Court, State Government and U.P. Technical University ragging has been declared illegal and is completely prohibited and banned. any student caught or informed by victim student or his parents/guardians, an F.I.R. will be lodged against the student involved in ragging.
The following action will be taken:
(a) Registration of F.I.R. against student involved in ragging.
(b) Immediate expulsion from the college/hostel.
(c) Every victim or his/her parents/guardians of raging can also file an F.I.R. directly with the police.
The college has taken following steps:
(a) A proctorial board has been constituted.
(b) An anti-ragging cell has been set up.
(c) A standing committee has been constituted
