PARA-EXPO 2026, the Working Model Exhibition at SRMS Institute of Allied & Healthcare Sciences (IAHS, formerly IPS), Bareilly, concluded successfully, bringing together innovation, research, and healthcare technology under one roof.
The event was graced by Shri Dev Murti (Chairman, SRMS Trust), Aditya Murti (Director Administration), Er Subhash Mehra (Trust Advisor), Dr RP Singh (MS), Dr MS Butola (Principal, SRMS IMS), Dr Jaspreet Kaur (Principal, IAHS), Dr Rohit Sharma (Vice Principal, IMS), Dr Anuj Kumar (Head, TDP Cell, SRMS CET), Dr Shivank Chaudhary (DSW), along with faculty members and department in charges.
A special moment of the event was the presentation of a handcrafted sketch memento to Hon’ble Chairman Sir by Dr Jaspreet Kaur. The models were evaluated by Dr Neelima Mehrotra (Professor & HOD, Ophthalmology Department, IMS), Dr Geeta Karki (Associate Professor, Anaesthesia Department), Dr Vinod Moga, and Dr Nabeela Khanam (Associate Professor & In charge, Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Department).
Showcasing innovative working models including HESS Screen (from Batch 2023), Visual Pathway (Batch 2025) & Low Vision Aids (Batch 2024) by B.Optom students to Thera Quad Fit (Batch 2023), Steam Bath (2024) & Smart Posture Assessment and Rehab Chair (Batch 2025) by BPT students, the exhibition highlighted innovation across disciplines. BMLS students impressed with Platelet Agitator (Batch 2024) & PCR Model (2025) , while BMRIT students showcased Pigg-O-Stat (Batch 2023), Rad Armor (2024) & Red Alert EPD (2025). The BOTT department further demonstrated cutting-edge models like Autoclave (Batch 2025), Robotic Surgery: Hernioplasty (2024) & Anaesthesia Work Station (2025).
