1. Introduction
Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) Trust, Bareilly — a name synonymous with academic excellence, innovation, and value-based education — proposes to organize a National Level Coding Contest titled “CODEQUEST 2026 : The National Coding Challenge”.
The contest aims to identify, nurture, and reward exceptional programming talent from among the final-year students of B.Tech., MCA, BCA & B.Sc. programs across India. It will serve as a national platform for young programmers to showcase their problem-solving and algorithmic thinking skills while also introducing them to the rich academic ecosystem of SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (SRMS CET), Bareilly, the first self-financed engineering college of the state of Uttar Pradesh.
2. Objectives
- To provide a competitive platform for budding programmers to exhibit their coding expertise.
- To enhance algorithmic and logical thinking among participants.
- To identify top performers and provide them with academic growth opportunities through M.Tech. (for B.Tech. & MCA students) and MCA (for BCA & B.Sc. students) programs at SRMS CET, Bareilly.

4. Contest Structure
The competition will comprise three rounds — two online elimination rounds and one offline Grand Finale to be held at SRMS CET, Bareilly.

5. Eligibility Criteria
- Open to BCA / B.Sc. Final Year and B.Tech. (CSE/IT/related branches) / MCA Final Year students across India.
- Participants must register individually.
- Each participant must have a valid college ID proof.
6. Registration Details
- Registration Mode : Online via official event portal.
- Registration Fee : ₹1100 (nominal entry fee to ensure commitment).
- Registration Window : Open till 10th March 2026.

- Logical correctness
- Code efficiency (time and space complexity)
- Code readability and modularity
- Execution within given constraints

[B] Academic Opportunity
- Top 05 B.Tech. / MCA Final Year winners will be offered Direct Admission to M.Tech. programs at SRMS CET, Bareilly for the Academic Year 2026-27 with Zero Tution Fee and Stipend upto Rs.10000/- per month subject to the condition of signing a bond for serving SRMS Institutions for a minimum period of two (02) years during which the remuneration (at par with the industry) will be paid.
- Top 05 BCA / B.Sc. Final Year winners will be offered Direct Admission to MCA at SRMS CET, Bareilly for the Academic Year 2026-27 with Zero Tution Fee and Stipend upto Rs.8000/- per month subject to the condition of signing a bond for serving SRMS Institutions for a minimum period of two (02) years.
- Short Term Courses to groom the selected students in emerging technologies.
9. Event Rules & Regulations
- Individual Participation : Each student must participate individually.
- Programming Languages Allowed : C, C++, Java, Python.
- Round Advancement : Only top performers of each round will qualify for the next stage.
- Online Round Integrity :
- Participants must ensure stable internet connectivity.
- Use of AI tools, plagiarism, or external assistance will lead to disqualification.
5. Offline Finale :
- Participants must carry their valid ID card and registration confirmation.
- Systems and compilers will be provided at the venue.
6. Judgment :
- The decision of the event jury will be final and binding.
7. Code Ownership :
- All submissions will remain the property of SRMS Trust for educational and promotional use.
