SRMS INSTITUTE OF PARAMEDICAL SCIENCES CELEBRATE WORLD ANESTHESIA DAY HONOURING THE UNSUNG HEROES OF SURGERY
The Department of Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) at SRMS Institute of Paramedical Sciences (IPS), Bareilly observed World Anesthesia Day with Poster-Making and Quiz Competition, highlighting the vital role of anesthesia in modern healthcare, which encouraged students to showcase their creativity & knowledge.
The day was inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr Jaspreet Kaur, Principal IPS, along with Dr SK Lohani, an Anesthesiologist. In her inspiring address, Dr Jaspreet Kaur appreciated the department’s initiative and emphasized the importance of clinical understanding and innovation in anaesthesia, while Dr Lohani shared valuable insights on its advancements and impact on patient care.
Students displayed remarkable enthusiasm through creative posters on Spinal Anaesthesia, Defibrillator, Breathing Circuit, and more. However, the Quiz Competition tested their conceptual clarity and practical understanding of anaesthesia-related topics. The winners were adjudged by Dr Nabeela, HOD, Physiotherapy Department; Imran, HOD, BMLS; and Atul, Assistant Professor, BMRIT.
