SRMS INSTITUTE OF PARAMEDICAL SCIENCES CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY WITH POSITIVITY & MINDFUL LIVING

In a spirited tribute to wellness and inner harmony, SRMS Institute of Paramedical Sciences (IPS), Bareilly celebrated International Yoga Day with energy, intention, and unity. With this year’s theme, “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”, the event echoed the call for sustainable living and holistic well-being—both personal and planetary.
Held under the aegis of the Ministry of Ayush’s Yoga Sangam Initiative, the celebration began with synchronised Surya Namaskars that energized the body and stilled the mind. This was followed by a focused meditation session and a Yoga Marathon, where students, faculty, and staff flowed through a dynamic series of asanas—each posture reinforcing balance, strength, and self-awareness.
What made the event special wasn’t just the physical activity, but the collective intention behind it—to prioritize mental peace, emotional resilience, and daily mindfulness in an age of constant rush. As the campus echoed with calm breaths and grounded movements, a shared commitment emerged to embrace yoga not just as a practice, but as a way of life.
