SRMS INSTITUTE OF PARAMEDICAL SCIENCES HOSTS FOUNDATION PROGRAMME TO WELCOME BATCH 2025
With the vision of shaping confident healthcare professionals, SRMS Institute of Paramedical Sciences (IPS), Bareilly organized a 10-day Foundation Programme for the incoming Batch of 2025, easing their transition into academic and professional life.
The programme began with an introduction to SRMS Trust, its values, institutions, and curriculum. Dr Jaspreet Kaur, Principal IPS, shared the Trust’s contributions in education and healthcare, while highlighting the institute’s ethos of nurturing excellence. Departmental in-charges further acquainted students with their disciplines, faculty, structure, rules, and hostel regulations, while also briefing them on the scope and future prospects of allied health sciences.
To build holistic growth, interactive sessions were held on patient safety, stress management, communication with patients, personality development, work culture, leadership, body language, rehabilitation, yoga, exercise, time management, infection prevention, radiation safety, soft skills, and professional communication. Basics of Anatomy, Physiology, and Computer Applications were also introduced to strengthen academic foundations.
Adding a creative edge, students enthusiastically participated in Poster Making and Nukkad Natak on Anti-Ragging, along with a Quiz Competition that encouraged awareness, confidence, and teamwork. Through this blend of academic orientation, skill-building, and creativity, SRMS IPS set the stage for its newest batch to embark on a meaningful academic journey.
