ALUMNI EXPERT TALK: SRMS PHARMACY ALUM DR SHEELENDRA PRATAP SINGH ILLUMINATES PHARMACOKINETICS IN DRUG DISCOVERY

SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (Pharmacy), Bareilly, in association with the SRMS Alumni Association and under the aegis of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), hosted an impactful Alumni Talk on “Role of Pharmacokinetics & Advanced Analytical Techniques in Drug Discovery & Toxicological Assessment.”
The session was led by Dr Sheelendra Pratap Singh (B. Pharm, Batch 2000), proud SRMS alumnus and Senior Scientist at the Toxicokinetic Laboratory, Regulatory Toxicology Group, CSIR–Indian Institute of Toxicology Research.
With an audience of 120+ students and faculty, Dr Singh delivered powerful insights on how pharmacokinetics and advanced analytical tools shape modern drug discovery, ensuring safety, efficacy, and accelerated development. He also unpacked the regulatory and scientific challenges in drug evaluation, motivating students to pursue interdisciplinary learning and careers in pharma research & development.
The event was a glimpse into the future of healthcare innovation, and was smoothly coordinated by Faculty Coordinators Shipra Sharma, Divya Sharma, and Dipali Gupta, along with Student Coordinators Chahak Agarwal, Ayush Dixit & Abhishek Singh Rana.
