Bareilly is about to witness a cricket storm like never before! The prestigious COOCH BEHAR TROPHY U-19, a BCCI Domestic Trophy (a Multi-Day Cricket Match) is returning to the city from DECEMBER 16-19, 2025, and the battleground is none other than the iconic SRMS Cricket Stadium, at SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly.

And here’s the BIG news…For the 3rd time in Bareilly’s history, SRMS Cricket Stadium has been chosen to host this mega event, for its world-class pitch, facilities, and its rising cricketing culture, which truly reflects the massive vote of trust by BCCI, UPCA, and Bareilly Cricket Association (BCA).

This December, the stadium will roar as the future stars of UTTAR PRADESH and BENGAL face off in a high-voltage showdown. Bareilly has hosted epic clashes before with UP vs Nagaland (2022) and UP vs Madhya Pradesh (2024), and this year, it’s back, bigger and louder.

BCA Secretary, Sitaram Saxena highlighted how BCA has been continuously nurturing local talent through camps and tournaments, including the recently successful Shri Ram Murti Memorial T-20 Prize Money Women’s Tournament. He added, “If SRMS hadn’t developed such a top-notch ground, Bareilly wouldn’t be hosting matches like the Cooch Behar Trophy today.”

BCA Patron & SRMS Trust Secretary, Aditya Murti expressed pride, saying it’s an honour for Bareilly to receive BCCI’s trust for the third consecutive time. Several SRMS Cricket Academy players have already reached state-level squads, and preparations for this match are in full swing.
