BRIDGING GAP BETWEEN LEARNING & INNOVATION: SRMS ENGINEERING (PHARMACY) HOSTS HANDS-ON WORKSHOP ON PHARMACEUTICAL INSTRUMENTS

To blend theory with real-world application, SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (Pharmacy), Bareilly organized a two-day Hands-on Workshop on Pharmaceutical Instruments, featuring Rotary Evaporator, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, and Rotary Press, under the guidance of IQAC and IIC (Ministry of HRD Initiative).

The workshop brought together 58 participants, including students, research scholars, faculty, and lab technicians from SRMS and other reputed institutions such as MJPRU, Bareilly International University, Mohammad Ali Jauhar University (Rampur), and Future Institute of Pharmacy.

Expert Sessions & Live Demonstrations
Dr. Ritesh Kumar Tiwari (Associate Professor), along with Shipra Sharma and Aafreen (Assistant Professors, Pharmacy Department), led detailed demonstrations on instrument operation, practical applications, and safety measures, followed by live hands-on sessions where participants explored and operated the instruments independently.

Inaugural & Valedictory Highlights
The event was inaugurated by Dr Prabhakar Gupta (Principal, CET), Dr Ritu Singh (Vice Principal, CET), Dr Amit Kumar Sharma (Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, Convener), and Dr Nita Yadav (Professor, Co-ordinator). Dr Gupta encouraged students to embrace innovation in the pharmaceutical industry, while Dr Sharma emphasized skill-based learning and bridging academia–industry gaps.

The workshop concluded with an enthusiastic feedback session and certificate distribution, marking a valuable step toward industry-ready pharmaceutical education.
