The academic session of 2025-26 has been a landmark year for the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. Students of the Department of Electronics &amp; Communication Engineering showcased outstanding technical skills at Robo War (<15 Kg), an Annual Techfest ‘TRYST26‘ Organized by the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, on 27 Feb to 01 Mar 2026. Winners:  Sachin Kumar (ECE 2023), Sparsh Saxena (ECE 2023), and Mohd. Saad (ECE 2023). They secured First Position and a cash award of Rs 70,000.00.
  2. Students from the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at SRMCET showcased outstanding technical skills at Gantavya 2K26, the Annual Tech Fest held on 16–17 February 2026 at SRMCEM, Lucknow. Sachin Kumar Maurya(ECE 2023) and Sparsh Saxena(ECE 2023) secured Second Position in both Robo War 15 kg and Robo War 8 kg categories, winning cash prizes of Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 15,000, respectively.

Sparsh(ECE 2023), Sachin(ECE 2023), and Mohd Saad(ECE 2023), the students of the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) Department of SRMSCET, brought pride and recognition to their institution by securing the First Prize in the Drone Technology category at the prestigious STEM Carnival 5.0, organized by RBMI Group of Institutions, Bareilly. The event, themed “STEM-Sastion – Igniting Minds, Inspiring Futures,” was held on 8th October 2025 at the RBMI Campus. winning cash prizes of Rs. 15,000. Additionally, students Prince Gupta (ECE 2024), Aditya (ECE 2024), and Anuj Gangwar (ECE 2023) also participated in the Robo War event, showcasing their technical skills and enthusiasm for robotics.
  4. The ARK Info-Solution in association with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Robotrax Club celebrated Tech Day on 24 Feb, 2026. This event focused on ANSYS MULTIPHYSICS. Demonstrations on EMI/EMC analysis, antenna design, and thermal-electrical coupling were conducted, followed by a Technical Competition. A total cash prize of Rs. 10,000 was awarded to the winners. The First Prize worth Rs. 5000 was secured by Pratiksha Singh(ECE 2023), Alankrit Kaushik(ECE 2023), Mohd. Saad(ECE 2023), Kapil Sharma(ECE 2024), Vinayak Deval(ECE 2024), and Basu Sharma(ECE 2024). The Second Prize worth Rs. 3000 was secured by Disha(ECE 2022), Pratibha(ECE 2023), Sparsh(ECE 2023), Abhay(ECE 2024), and Pranav(ECE 2025). The Third Prize worth Rs. 2000 was secured by Ayushi(ECE 2025), Ayush(ECE 2024), Bhumi(ECE 2024), Deepansh(ECE 2024), Sneha(ECE 2024), and Viraj(ECE 2024).

Anuj Gangwar(ECE 2023), Ayush Gangwar(ECE 2023), Aditya(ECE 2024), and Prince Gupta(ECE 2024), the students of the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) Department of SRMSCET, brought pride and recognition to their institution by securing the First Position in the event “Robo Race” at the annual techfest “AURA” organized by MJPRU University, winning a cash prize of Rs. 2100.
  6. Cognizance, the flagship technical festival of IIT Roorkee, remains a premier national platform for innovation. The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, SRMS College of Engineering and Technology, delivered a standout performance through the technical expertise and grit of Sachin Kumar Maurya(ECE 2023), Sparsh Saxena(ECE 2023), and Md. Saad(ECE 2023), who secured the Second Position along with a cash award of Rs. 50,000 in the 30kg RoboWar Category held on 13-14 Mar 2026. They competed against elite teams from across India for a share of the Rs. 6 lakh prize pool.

TECHVYOM 2026, the annual technical fest, was organized by the Tyro Club of Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) on 23rd April 2026. In the event “Robo War,” Anuj Gangwar(ECE 2023) and Pratibha Pal(ECE 2023) won the First Prize worth Rs. 10,000. Sparsh Saxena(ECE 2023) and Suryansh(ECE 2025) secured the Second Prize worth Rs. 6000, while Sachin Kumar Maurya(ECE 2023), Palak(ECE 2023), Deepansh Gangwar(ECE 2024), Shaurya Indwar(ECE 2025), Arun Singh Rathore(ECE 2025), Aditya Shroti(ECE 2025), and Basu Sharma(ECE 2024) secured the Third Prize worth Rs. 4000.
  8. TECHVYOM 2026, the annual technical fest, was proudly organized by the Tyro Club on 23rd April 2026. In the event “RC-Car Race,” Ayush Gangwar(ECE 2023), Aditya(ECE 2024), Prince Gupta(ECE 2024), and Anuj Gangwar(ECE 2023) secured the First Position with a cash prize of Rs. 1500. Arun Singh Rathore(ECE 2025), Shaurya Indwar(ECE 2025), and Aditya Shroti(ECE 2025) secured the Second Position with a cash prize of Rs. 1000, while Sachin Kumar Maurya(ECE 2023) secured the Third Position with a cash prize of Rs. 750.
  9. TECHVYOM 2026, the annual technical fest, was proudly organized by the Tyro Club on 23rd April 2026. In the event “Line Following Robot,” Anuj Gangwar(ECE 2023), Aditya(ECE 2024), and Prince Gupta(ECE 2024) secured the First Position with a cash prize of Rs. 1000. Abhay Rathore(ECE 2024) and Sarang Shekhar(ECE 2024) secured the Second Position with a cash prize of Rs. 750, while Arun Singh Rathore(ECE 2025), Shaurya Indwar(ECE 2025), and Aditya Shroti(ECE 2025) secured the Third Position with a cash prize of Rs. 500.
  10. TECHVYOM 2026, the annual technical fest, was proudly organized by the Tyro Club on 23rd April 2026. In the event “RoboSoccer,” Prince Gupta(ECE 2024) and Ayush Gangwar(ECE 2023) secured the Second Position with a cash prize of Rs. 1000.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering feels proud to announce that Ms. Ankita Agarwal and Mr. Sarthak Mishra, M.Tech Students Batch 2024, received Special Recognition and the Best Paper Award for their invaluable contribution as presenters at the 5th International Conference (EICBI’25), organized by the Faculty of Management Science, Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering and Technology, Bareilly, in association with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, and the United Nations Global Compact Network, India, held on 10th and 11th October 2025. Ms. Ankita Agarwal presented a research paper on “Role of AI in Developing Business Acumen amid Market Uncertainty and Volatility,” which was ranked First in its respective track, while Mr. Sarthak Mishra presented a research paper on “Internet of Things: Reshaping the Future of Business,” which was also ranked First in its respective track.

Sri Sarthak Mishra, under the guidance of Dr. Sovan Mohanty, received the Best Paper Award at the 6th International Conference on Mechanical Engineering and Nanomaterials (ICRAMEN 2026) for the paper titled “Development of Stacked Dielectric Resonator Antenna with Micro-Strip Feed,” organized by St. John College of Engineering and Management, Palghar.

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering feels proud to share that Ms. Pratibha Pal(ECE 2023), a student of SRMS College of Engineering and Technology, Bareilly, was awarded a Certificate of Merit in the 12th All India Art Competition – “Colour Balloons,” organized by the Department of Fine Arts on 16th October 2025.
  15. The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) proudly celebrates the academic achievements of its students who were awarded scholarships in recognition of their merit and dedication. Ayush Agarwal, a 2nd Year, 4th Semester ECE student (Batch 2023), received a scholarship amount of Rs. 20,000 for his commendable academic performance. Students from Batch 2024 were also honored, where Prince Gupta received a scholarship amount of Rs. 30,000, while Abhay Singh Rathore, Kushagra Goel, and Vinayak Deval received scholarships worth Rs. 20,000 each.
  16. The project “Animora Cooling Mist Spray” by Nirali Suri(ECE 2023) and Alankrit Kaushik(ECE 2023) was shortlisted at the Indian Veterinary Research Institute, and they participated in the ABI-IVRI one-month Training Program held from 9th Feb to 6th Mar 2026.
  17. Ms. Pragati Patel(ECE 2022) was shortlisted and attended the academic project work titled “Space Technology” at the U R Rao Satellite Centre – Indian Space Research Organization. The project duration was four months, beginning from September 2025 to December 2025.
  18. Mr. Ayush Agarwal and Md. Saad were selected for the Internship at Semiconductor Laboratory under India’s Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), focused on microelectronics. They will attend the internship from June to August 2026.
  19. The students of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Sapna Kumari(ECE 2024) and Maiher Khan(ECE 2024), were selected to participate in the 3rd edition of IDE Bootcamp (Phase-2) held from 20 Apr to 24 Apr 2026.
  20. The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, in association with the Robotrax Club and the Institute Innovation Council (IIC), SRMS College of Engineering and Technology, organized a seminar titled “INDIA: A RISING GIANT” on 14 August 2025 to celebrate the 79th Independence Day. Akshansh Agarwal(ECE 2024) and Mohd. Subhan(ECE 2024) stressed the value system of ancient India and received the Gold Medal. Vinayak Deval(ECE 2024) and Abhay Singh Rathore(ECE 2024) presented the industrial revolution in modern India and received the Silver Medal, while Maiher Khan(ECE 2024) highlighted India’s security scenario based on Operation Sindoor and received the Bronze Medal.
  21. The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, in association with the Robotrax Club, SRMS College of Engineering and Technology, organized a Sketching Competition on 04th September 2025 during the Zero Hour Activity. The competition was themed “Freedom Struggle Moment: Illustration of Iconic Scenes from India’s Independence Movement.” In this event, Ms. Pratibha Pal(ECE 2023) received the Gold Medal, while Ms. Srishty Sharma(ECE 2023) received the Silver Medal.
  22. The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) organized a vibrant Dance Competition on 16th October 2025 as part of the Zero Hour Activity. In this event, Ms. Palak Mishra(ECE 2023) received the First Prize, while Ms. Maiher Khan(ECE 2024) received the Third Prize.
  23. The students of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering actively participated in ZEST 2025, held on 14th and 15th November 2025. In this event, Sarang Shekhar(ECE 2024) participated in the Group Dance and Battle of Bands events and won the First Prize in both. Pratibha Pal(ECE 2023) participated in the Canvas Painting event and secured the Second Prize, while Kushagra Goyal(ECE 2024) participated in the Canvas Sketching event and secured the Third Prize.
  24. The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, in association with the Robotrax Club and the Institute Innovation Council (IIC), SRMS College of Engineering and Technology, organized a technical seminar titled “Intelligent Network and Future of Communication Technology” on 04 Dec 2025. Abhay Singh Rathore(ECE 2024), Vinayak Deval(ECE 2024), and Mohd. Subhan(ECE 2024) received the Gold Medal for the topic “Quantum Communication Networks: Security and Speed Redefined.” Akshansh Agarwal(ECE 2024), Sneha Jaiswal(ECE 2024), and Viraj Gaurav Johri(ECE 2024) received the Silver Medal for the topic “Edge Computing and Intelligent Connectivity.” There was a tie for the Third Position, where Pranav Bhatt and Shaurya Indwar received the Bronze Medal for the topic “Green Networking,” while Abhay Kumar(ECE 2025), Aditya Shroti(ECE 2025), and Arun Singh Rathore(ECE 2025) received the Bronze Medal for the topic “Healthcare Communication Networks: Telemedicine and Remote Monitoring.”
  25. The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, in association with the Institute Innovation Council (IIC), SRMS College of Engineering and Technology, organized a Technical Extempore on 05 Feb 2026. Aditya Shroti(ECE 2025) and Shaurya Indwar(ECE 2025) received the Gold Medal for the topic “India’s Mars Mission,” while Anshika Gangwar(ECE 2024) and Akshansh Agarwal(ECE 2024) received the Silver Medal for the topic “Climate Change.”
  26. The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, in association with the Robotrax Club and the Institute Innovation Council (IIC) at SRMS College of Engineering and Technology, organized a Guest Lecture and Technical Seminar on 14 April 2026. The program, themed “ECE 360: Waves, Wires and Beyond,” along with a guest lecture on “Temporal Study of LYC Radiation,” featured several outstanding presentations. Abhay(ECE 2024) and Vinayak(ECE 2024) secured the First Prize for their presentation on “RISC-V: The Future of Open-Source Hardware.” Akshansh(ECE 2024), Subhan(ECE 2024), and Viraj(ECE 2024) won the Second Prize for “Printed and Flexible Electronics,” while Sneha(ECE 2024) and Shipra(ECE 2024) achieved the Third Prize for “Wireless Power Transfer for IoT.”
