QUIZING THE LEGACY: SRMS CET MBA STUDENTS HONOUR ATAL BIHARI VAJPAYEE’S CENTENARY THROUGH KNOWLEDGE & INSPIRATION

To mark the birth centenary of Bharat Ratna,Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly hosted an intellectually charged quiz competition that paid tribute to one of India’s most beloved statesmen. Organized for MBA students, the event celebrated Vajpayee Ji’s towering legacy—his oratory brilliance, statesmanship, poetic genius, and unwavering patriotism.

The program began with an inspiring address by Principal, CET,Dr Prabhakar Gupta, who reflected on the enduring relevance of Vajpayee Ji’s values and his leadership during pivotal moments like the Kargil War. Quiz Master Dr Shobhit Kumar (Associate Professor, Faculty of Management Sciences at SRMS CET) led the engaging rounds, each exploring different facets of Vajpayee Ji’s life—from his political journey and speeches to his literary contributions. Twelve two-member teams battled it out, showcasing sharp minds and a deep admiration for the late leader. Audience members also joined in through interactive rounds, adding excitement to the event.

Winners were felicitated with certificates by Dr Saurabh Gupta (DSW), Dr Saty Dev (Assistant Professor, ME), and other dignitaries, closing a thought-provoking session that blended learning with patriotic pride.
