We’re excited to share highlights from our technical seminar “Intelligent Network and Future of Communication Technology”, held recently, by Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering in collaboration with Robotrax Club and IIC at SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly.

The session opened doors for technology aspirants to dive deep into the next wave of breakthroughs in Wireless & Mobile, Satellite, Optical, and Defense Communication. From 5G expansion to India’s growing leadership in 6G research, the seminar shed light on how rapidly evolving communication technologies are reshaping our world.

What made the event truly engaging was its core idea, as to how ordinary individuals, when brought together, create extraordinary outcomes in STEM. Students worked in teams, explored emerging domains, and presented on forward-looking themes such as IoT for Smart Cities, Quantum Communication Networks, Telemedicine & Remote Monitoring, AR/VR-based Immersive Communication, Edge Computing & Intelligent Connectivity and more.

The expert talk by Dr Sovan Mohanty on 5G and the engineering behind a smarter world added invaluable depth and sparked new perspectives among attendees.
