SRMS ENGINEERING COLLEGE HOSTS POWER-PACKED BUSINESS PLAN CHALLENGE FOR YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS

Turning ideas into impact-that’s what unfolded at SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly, as the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) in collaboration with SRMS Charitable Foundation (a registered Section 8 Incubation Centre), hosted a high-energy Business Plan Competition to ignite the entrepreneurial spirit in young minds.

This dynamic initiative gave MBA students a powerful launchpad to pitch disruptive, real-world business ideas and think beyond the classroom. With over 45 entries, the competition unfolded in phases — starting with submission of executive summaries assessed for innovation, feasibility, and potential impact.

After rigorous evaluation, 23 standout entries made it to the final pitching round, where individual participants and teams presented their business plans, demonstrating strong creativity, strategic thinking, and clarity in execution. The event sparked vibrant discussions on solving real-world challenges through entrepreneurship. Winners who stole the show were 1st Prize: Sukriti Tiwari (MBA First Year); 2nd Prize: Vandna & Kashish Saxena, & 3rd Prize: Shekhar Maurya & Manu Gangwar, Anuj & Deepali Gupta, who were judged on parameters like problem identification, solution innovation, business model design, presentation skills, and overall impact.

From ideation to execution, this competition proved that SRMS is not just building students; it’s building future founders.
