SRMS ENGINEERING (PHARMACY) COLLEGE CELEBRATES NATIONAL CGMP DAY 2025: INSPIRING FUTURE PHARMACISTS TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE EXCELLENCE

Upholding its commitment to quality and innovation, SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (Pharmacy), Bareilly, in collaboration with Indian Drug Manufacturers Association, celebrated National cGMP Day 2025 with great enthusiasm. The event, themed ‘cGMP for Sustainable Quality’, aimed to inspire budding pharmacists to bridge regulatory knowledge with real-world manufacturing practices.
Organized by the college’s Pharmquimica Club, the session began with an insightful overview of the role of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in ensuring the safety, efficacy, and global quality of pharmaceutical products. Students took center stage during an Elocution Activity on ‘cGMP: Standardizing Quality, Securing Health’, where they shared their perspectives on key principles like documentation, validation, process control & quality assurance.
Participants were applauded for their clarity, creativity, and technical understanding. Dr Amit Kumar Sharma (Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy) lauded their efforts and emphasized upon adhering to cGMP as the foundation of patient safety and trust in the pharmaceutical industry. The event was seamlessly coordinated by Shipra Sharma and Divya Sharma, Assistant Professors, CET Pharmacy, making it a day that truly celebrated learning, leadership, and the spirit of quality-driven innovation.
