TURNING IDEAS INTO IMPACT: SRMS TECHTORNADO TEAM WINS BIG at SUSTAIN-A-THON 2025!

SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly is beaming with pride as its brilliant B Tech (IT) third-year studentsArsh Uddin, Amaan Ur Rehman, Hassan Khan, and Valeed, a.k.a. Team TechTornado — bagged the Second Position among 77 teams and a cash prize of ₹30,000 at Sustain-a-thon 2025, hosted by Sharda University.

The 24-hour national hackathon tested not just coding skills, but creativity, endurance, and purpose. Under the theme “Innovate to Empower Viksit Bharat 2047,” participants crafted ideas to tackle real-world problems aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); from clean energy, digital health, mental well-being and renewable/sustainable energy to climate resilience, rural tech, disaster management and AI & ML for public good.

For Team TechTornado, it wasn’t just about competition; it was about creating something that makes a difference. Their win is a proud reflection of SRMS CET’s growing ecosystem of innovation and purpose-driven learning, where students don’t just study technology, they build the future with it.
