SRMS ENGINEERING COLLEGE STRENGTHENS INDUSTRY TIES AT SUBROS LTD. SKILL COLLABORATION MEET 2025

Making an impactful industrial visit, the faculty at SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly, joined the 2nd Industry–Academia Skill Collaboration Meet 2025 at Subros Limited, Manesar, under the theme “Bridge the Gap with Collaboration of Industry–Academia for Innovation and Growth in Industry.”

The visit, welcomed by Sandeep Yadav offered insights into Subros Ltd, a leading supplier of automotive AC and thermal systems to Maruti Suzuki, Toyota, and other global manufacturers. The participants observed advanced facilities with robotic automation, AI-based quality inspection, sustainable R&D projects and advanced cooling technologies. The visit was a broad platform for the SRMS Engineering faculty to explore industry collaboration to align academics with evolving market needs.

Representing SRMS CET, Dr Ravindra Kumar (HoD, Department of ME); Dr Pushpendra Yadav (Asst. Prof., ME), and Dr Rajesh Kumar (Asst. Prof., EN) actively engaged in discussions led by Pawan Yadav (DGM, HR & Admin, Subros). The key takeaways included opportunities for joint research in sustainable manufacturing, structured internships, curriculum co-design, training, and placement avenues for B Tech students.
