SRMS ENGINEERING COLLEGE PRESENTS AN EXPERT TALK ON QUANTUM DOTS (QD) IN PHOTOVOLTAICS
What if the next revolution in clean energy isn’t bigger, but billions of times smaller?
The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly, in association with the Robotrax Club and the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), is organizing an insightful Expert Talk on “Quantum Dots (QD) in Photovoltaics” on 15 July 2026.
The session will be delivered by Dr Abhigyan Ganguly, Associate Professor at Brainware University, Kolkata, and an alumnus of the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, who will explore how Quantum Dots, engineered nanoscale semiconductor crystals that are making photovoltaic technologies more efficient, affordable, and sustainable.
Bringing together students, research scholars, and faculty members, the session promises to offer valuable insights into one of the most exciting frontiers of nanotechnology, inspiring young innovators to think beyond today’s possibilities and engineer tomorrow’s solutions.
