YOUNG VOICES, STRONG IDEAS: SRMS ENGINEERING COLLEGE STUDENTS SPEAK ON UNITY IN DIVERSITY
Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly organised a Speech Competition recently in sync with Republic Day celebration, bringing together young voices with powerful ideas.
Centered on the theme “अनेकता में एकता भारत की विशेषता”, the competition was conducted in Hindi, giving students a meaningful platform to express their thoughts on patriotism, social harmony, and national integrity. The speeches reflected not only confidence and clarity but also a deep connection to India’s cultural and constitutional values. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students across disciplines and was smoothly coordinated under the guidance of faculties, Dr Saurabh Gupta, Dr Saty Dev, and Deepali Gupta, with support from the Tyro Club.
Among the winners of the competition, Taranjot Singh, B Tech (IT), First Year grabbed First position; Mohit Kumar, B Tech (CSE), Third Year secured Second position, while Paras Sharma, MBA, First Year remained on Third spot. The competition successfully encouraged public speaking, critical thinking, and national pride, reminding us that unity in diversity remains India’s greatest strength.
