EICBI’25 at SRMS ENGINEERING COLLEGE SPARKS GLOBAL DIALOGUE on AI, INNOVATION & SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

The Faculty of Management Science at SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly hosted the 5th International Conference EICBI’-25 on Innovation-Driven Governance and Sustainable Development in the Modern Era of AI. Organized in collaboration with AKTU, Lucknow, Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), and UN Global Compact Network India (UNGCNI), New Delhi, the two-day event brought together leading academicians, researchers, industry experts, and policymakers from India and abroad to explore how AI, ethics, and sustainability can converge to build a more equitable and resilient world.
Featuring 7 technical tracks & 94 research papers, the conference fostered cross-sector dialogue on the socio-economic implications of technological growth and its potential to create inclusive, transparent, and environmentally conscious governance systems.
The conference was inaugurated by Shri Dev Murti, Chairman, SRMS Trust, who emphasized the need for value-based education and global engagement in shaping technological innovation. Aditya Murti, Secretary, SRMS Trust, discussed AI’s evolving role in governance and sustainable growth.
Delivering the keynote address, Chief Guest Sushil Aggarwal, Founder & Chairman, AVRO India Ltd., inspired participants by saying, “Success in today’s era belongs to those who stay curious, resilient, and courageous enough to embrace change.”
A key highlight was the signing of an MoU between SRMS Trust and AVRO India Ltd., formalized by Shri Dev Murti and Shri Sushil Aggarwal, promoting knowledge exchange & collaborative innovation.
Adding international insight, Dr Naseem Abidi (Horizon University, UAE) discussed AI’s role in sustainability and equitable growth, while Dr Ihtiram Raza Khan (Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi) and Dr Kepeng Li (University of Tasmania, Melbourne) offered global perspectives on innovation, ethics, and governance.
Also, present were Dr Prabhakar Gupta, Principal, CET; Dr Anuj Kumar, Director, TDP Cell; and Dr Saurabh Gupta, DSW, who hailed the conference as a hub of forward-thinking research and intellectual synergy.
The technical sessions spanned AI & Machine Learning, Digital Transformation, Environmental Governance, Healthcare & Education Innovation, Emerging Technologies, and Global AI Governance Models (virtual sessions with UAE, Malaysia, and Australia).
The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony, where Aditya Murti presented mementos to the distinguished guests.
