AT SRMS, SPORTS IS MORE THAN A GAME; IT’S WHERE WE LEARN TO PLAY, PERSEVERE AND GROW!

Under the theme “Khelega Bharat, Jeetega Bharat,” the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering and Department of Basic Sciences at SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly, under the aegis of IIC, celebrated National Sports Day 2026 through Sports Bandhan. With 150 participants coming together, Sports Bandhan was a celebration of movement, camaraderie and the simple joy of playing together.

The 3-day celebrations brought together students through Yoga and Meditation, the National Sports Day Pledge, Tug of War, a tribute to Major Dhyan Chand, awareness on India’s sporting achievements and the inspiring contribution of Indian women athletes, along with a seminar on ‘Sweat Out Stress through Mindful Movement.’

Because sport is not just about winning; it teaches us to show up, work together, handle setbacks, stay disciplined and keep moving forward, with the values that matter far beyond the playing field.
