SRMS ENGINEERING COLLEGE marks WORLD PHARMACISTS DAY 2026 with a CALL FOR KNOWLEDGE, INNOVATION & HEALTHIER FUTURES

SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (SRMS CET), Bareilly celebrated the 14th World Pharmacists Day on 25 September 2026, on the theme “Empowering Pharmacists for Healthier Futures.”

The celebration began with Lamp Lighting, Saraswati Vandana, badge felicitation and sapling presentation, in the presence of Shri Dev Murti (Chairman, SRMS Trust); Shri Aditya Murti, (Secretary, SRMS Trust) and Chief Guest Satya Prakash Pandey, Group Product Manager, Mankind Pharmaceutical Limited, Delhi, along with senior academic leaders and faculty members.

Dr. Amit Kumar Sharma, Director Pharmacy, introduced the theme and administered the Pharmacist Oath. Satya Prakash Pandey highlighted the importance of knowledge and professional competencies; Aditya Murti spoke on research and innovation for affordable medicines; Dr Anuj Kumar, Director TDP, emphasized timely medication, while Shri Dev Murti inspired the gathering with his address.

The celebration also showcased student talent through Oral Presentation, Rangoli and Poster Presentation Competitions.

The Best Pharmacist Award went to Dayanshu Verma for his contribution and dedication to the profession. The programme was well coordinated by Pharmquimica Club under Faculty In-charge Shipra Sharma and Faculty Coordinator Divya Sharma, and concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Dr Nita Yadav.
