As the FIFA World Cup 2026 continues to inspire millions across the globe, the same passion, grit, and winning spirit echoed at the SRMS Football Ground (at SRMS College of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly) where four thrilling days of football culminated in a spectacular finale at the Central Air Command Air Force Schools’ Junior U-17 (Boys & Girls) AF Level Selection Tournament for Subroto Cup 2026.

Hosted by SRMS Football Academy at SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly, the tournament brought together some of the finest young footballing talent from Air Force Schools Bareilly, Bamrauli (Prayagraj), Gorakhpur, Agra, and Gwalior, competing in an exciting League-cum-Knockout format.

In a commanding display of teamwork and skill, in Girls category, Air Force School Bareilly emerged as champions with a convincing 4–0 victory over Air Force School Gorakhpur, while in Boys category, the Air Force School Bareilly clinched the title after defeating Air Force School Gorakhpur 3–0, bringing the championship home in both categories.

The grand prize distribution ceremony was graced by Chief Guest, Air Officer Commanding (AOC), Air Force Station Bareilly, Dr Rao, and Guest of Honour Shri Dev Murti, Chairman, SRMS Trust, in the esteemed presence of Meenakshi Bisht, Principal, Air Force School and other distinguished dignitaries, who congratulated the young champions and applauded the spirit of sportsmanship displayed throughout the tournament.
