The MBBS Programme is divided into three professionals. First professional is of two semesters in which Pre-Clinical (Basic Sciences i.e. Anatomy, Physiology & Biochemistry) subjects are being taught.
Para Clinical Departments
In Second Professional, para clinical subjects are taught in three semesters i.e. III, IV & V. These include Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine & Toxicology.
Clinical Departments
The Final & Third Professional consists of 4 semesters i.e. VI, VII, VIII & IX. The subjects being taught are covered by the following departments which are fully established and have separate OPDs and Wards for efficient managmement of the patients.
Super Speciality Departments
The Institute aims to produce competent Super Specialists and Medical teachers who shall recognize the health needs of the community and carry out professional obligation ethically and in keeping with the objectives of the national health policy.
