DESIGNING FEATURES: SRMS ENGINEERING COLLEGE HOSTS INSIGHTFUL ALUMNI TALK ON UX & INNOVATION

Highlighting how design is more than visuals; it’s about creating impact, SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly, in collaboration with the TDP Cell, recently hosted an inspiring Alumni Talk on ‘Let’s Talk Designs’ featuring Shubham Deep Gupta, UX Designer at Magic Bricks and proud B Tech (CS) Alumnus (Batch 2014–18).

Addressing first and second year students from B Tech (CS/IT/EC/EN/ME), BCA& first year MCA, along with B Tech (CS) students of Batch 2023 & 2024 from SRMS CETR, Shubham shared his journey from campus to career while decoding the fundamentals of UX, UI, and Product Design. He emphasized the real-world impact of design, Agile methodologies, and the power of user-centric thinking in today’s digital era. The session offered students valuable insights into industry expectations, evolving design trends, and career pathways. The interactive Q & A segment further enriched student understanding.

The event concluded with a warm token of appreciation presented by Dr Prabhakar Gupta, Principal, CET, in the presence of Dr Ritu Singh, Vice Principal, SRMS CET; Dr Anuj Kumar, Director, TDP Cell, and several others.
