A promising industry-academia collaboration at SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly, is opening a new pathway to careers in the BFSI sector, with FinAGG Technologies offering Pre-Placement Opportunities to 28 MBA and BBA students of the 2027 graduating batch.

However, he collaboration also carries a strong alumni connect, with Er Nipun Kohli, Co-Founder, FinAGG Technologies, and an alumnus of SRMS CET’s 1999–2003 B Tech batch, playing a key role in creating this training and career opportunity for students of his alma mater.

Following a rigorous selection process involving online assessments, Group Discussions and Personal Interviews conducted by FinAGG’s industry experts, 19 MBA students received PPOs at ₹5 LPA, while 9 BBA students received PPOs at ₹4 LPA.

Taking this collaboration a step further, FinAGG Finance School at SRMS CET will offer the selected students 500 hours of industry-led training by BFSI professionals and industry practitioners. The programme will provide hands-on exposure to lending and financial services, MSME financing, credit assessment, GST data analysis, customer engagement, sales and business operations. What makes the initiative particularly valuable is its assured employment opportunity with FinAGG upon successful completion of the prescribed training, giving students the opportunity to learn directly from industry while preparing for a career even before they graduate.
