SRMS INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES CELEBRATE 79TH INDEPENDENCE DAY WITH PRIDE, HONOR & MILESTONES
With patriotic fervor and heartfelt tributes, SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Bareilly marked the 79th Independence Day in a grand celebration of unity, honour, and national pride.
The day began with Phool Arpan to Late Shri Ram Murti Ji & Mahatma Gandhi, honoring their vision and sacrifice, followed by the flag hoisting by Aditya Murti, Director Administration. The occasion was graced by Richa Murti, Director, SRMS Goodlife Hospital; Er Subhash Mehra, Trust Advisor; Dr MS Butola, Principal IMS; Dr RP Singh, Medical Superintendent; Dr Rohit Sharma, Dean PG; Dr Bindu Garg, Dean UG; Dr Jaspreet Kaur, Principal IPS; Dr Nirmal Yadav, Senior Consultant, Medicine at SRMS Goodlife Hospital, alongside faculty; doctors; residents; interns; MBBS and paramedical students.
Patriotic songs like ‘Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon’, ‘Jahan daal daal Par Sone Ki Chidiya Karti Hai Basera’ by MBBS & Paramedical students and National Anthem set a stirring tone. In his inspiring address, Aditya Murti said, “Work hard and keep faith in your abilities and the trust reposed in you. It is this spirit that will shape a stronger and brighter India.”
Dr MS Butola proudly announced IMS’s recent milestones, including, 5th rank in UP (excluding NCR) and 13th in North India (Outlook & NEB Research 2025), 37th rank nationally in the India Today Best Medical Colleges Survey 2025, and a huge leap to 11th position in Outlook-ICARE Rankings 2025, alongside recognition as India’s Gold Standard Institution among the Top 50 Institutes. He also spoke about cochlear transplant, robotic surgery, and innovative facilities offered by SRMS IMS like telemedicine bus, ensuring quality healthcare access.
