A moment of pride and recognition for 𝐒𝐑𝐌𝐒 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 (𝐈𝐌𝐒), 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐲, at the 𝐍𝐀𝐁𝐇 𝐆𝐮𝐧𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐬𝐚𝐯 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 – 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧, a unique initiative focused on elevating India’s quality ecosystem.

Under 𝐍𝐀𝐁𝐇 𝐀𝐏𝐄𝐗 (Achieving Performance Excellence), 𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐢 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞, 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫, 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, SRMS IMS presented the case study in the 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 & 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 category, titled “𝐄𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜.”The initiative went on to receive the 𝐉𝐮𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 (𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞), a recognition that feels especially meaningful because it celebrates something at the heart of healthcare: 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭. This quality improvement project was undertaken by the Quality department under the guidance of 𝐃𝐫. 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐣𝐚𝐲 𝐊𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐫, HOD & Prof. Department of Nephrology & Dialysis Unit.

For SRMS IMS, this recognition is a reminder that 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬; 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐠𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫.

As part of this initiative, a 𝐂𝐄𝐎𝐬’ 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞, exclusively for leaders of 𝐍𝐀𝐁𝐇-𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 also took place bringing together healthcare leaders to gain critical insights into advancing quality standards, addressing challenges encountered along the NABH journey, sharing experiences and exploring how quality improvements can go beyond accreditation benchmarks. This exclusive session was attended by 𝐀𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐲𝐚 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐢 (Director Administration, SRMS IMS), 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐢 (Director, FIMC, Lucknow) and many others.
