ZEAL 2026, the Annual Cultural Fest of SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Bareilly didn’t just happen; it took over. Organised by MBBS Batch 2023 under the theme “Panorama: A 360° View of the World”, this was a full-blown celebration of everything that makes campus life worth living; talent, chaos, colour, and the kind of energy that you feel in your chest long after it’s over.

Inaugurated by Shri Dev Murti (Chairman, SRMS Trust), ZEAL kicked off with a bang. Whether you were the type to obsess over Calligraphy & Sudoku, crack codes in Murder Investigation, go unhinged at Dumb Charades, or quietly slay at Reel Making & Photography, there was a corner of this fest built just for you. The creative souls went off at Nail Art, Face Painting, T-Shirt Painting & Makeover stations, while the kitchen legends proved their mettle at Fireless Cooking.

But the stage? That’s where ZEAL truly became ZEAL. Rap Battles that had the crowd losing it. Beat Boxing that stopped people mid-walk. Mono Acts that gave everyone chills. A Turncoat Debate that flipped opinions in real time. Solo, Duet, and Group Dance that turned the floor into a full-on movie scene. Stand-Up & Open Mic that reminded everyone that med school students are, in fact, hilarious. And the Inter-batch Drama that brought out the inner actor in people who spend most of their days memorising anatomy.

Best Pair. Best Walk. Star of the Night. Voice of Zeal were the titles earned, not given. Well, ZEAL 2026 was proof that the future doctors of India aren’t just brilliant; they’re bold, creative, and genuinely, unapologetically fun.
