FRONTLINE WARRIORS, SILENT SAVIORS: SRMS INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES CELEBRATE WORLD EMERGENCY MEDICINE DAY WITH HEARTFELT TRIBUTES

Not all heroes wear capes—some wear scrubs, some uniforms, and some simply carry compassion in their hands…

On World Emergency Medicine Day, SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Bareilly turned the spotlight on the everyday heroes of emergency care—those who respond first, think fast, and save lives under immense pressure. This year’s global theme, ‘Proud to Provide Your Emergency Care’, resonated deeply across the campus as SRMS IMS celebrated the unsung force behind its emergency services.

In a moving ceremony, Shri Dev Murti, Chairman, SRMS Trust, honoured the emergency medicine and trauma team, including medical officers, residents, nurses, ward boys, housekeeping, and security personnel for their unwavering dedication. “They are the heartbeat of critical care, working tirelessly when seconds matter,” he remarked.

With dignitaries like Dr MS Butola (Principal IMS), Dr RP Singh (Medical Superintendent), Dr Rohit Sharma (Dean PG), and Dr Harshit Agarwal (Emergency & Trauma Surgeon) in attendance, the event was both a tribute and a reminder—that behind every saved life is a team that refuses to rest.
