As the chill of winter set in and festive lights brightened homes, the SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (SRMS IMS), Bareilly chose to celebrate Diwali a little differently by spreading light where it was needed most. Well, SRMS didn’t just celebrate the festival of lights, it became the light for many.

Under the Family Adoption Program, the Connexus Club students led a touching Donation Drive – “Ek Ummeed, Vishwas Ki”, raising funds to bring smiles to under-five children of village Amberpur.

What began as small contributions, even as little as ₹1, soon turned into a wave of kindness. Students, doctors, teachers, and staff from every department, Anatomy to Anaesthesia, Paediatrics to Pathology, came together to make a difference. The heartfelt initiative helped provide woollen clothes, baby essentials, stationery, toys, and even 250 warm blankets to families in need. Every gift was personally handed over by SRMS students, carrying not just warmth, but love, dignity, and human connection.
